Theresa: No operation is needed to tighten. I have a port in my abdomen under the skin, and he just inserts a needle into it, and can add or remove water as necessary. It's very easy and just takes a few minutes. I had the band tightened on Jan. 4th, and will have it tightened again on Feb. 16. It can be done up to 4 times a year as needed.
ny_shelly: Hey, you didn't say if you had your band tightened. If they did, did you have to get an operation to do that? Congratulations on your success!!
Theresa: I'm hanging in there. Thanks for all the support you guys give me. I wish we could all meet once a month and celebrate our sucesses! LOL

Let's hope this works now.....

I tried to post earlier today, and it would not let me.  Said I had to pay for a subscription first.  Bologna!  I think it was just a glitch in the system, and hope it works now.

Sorry I have been AWOL for so long.  I have just been super busy and have not thought about posting.  I was reprimanded at Thanksgiving by someone who lurks here but seldom ever post for lack of a recent post.  Sorry, did not realize I had such a fan base.....LOL, yeah right!

Hockey is going well.  I am playing ice and inline with a great bunch of people.  Our website is officially up and running now, but they are still adding things to it.  The link is Southern Women's Hockey League .  There is still a lot to be put on it, but check it out and return and check it again in a few weeks.  It should be complete then.  There should be lots of great pictures of us playing on there soon.

My Mudbug team is having a tough season.  Lot's of new players, and they seem to be having difficulty playing well together.  I think if they were to win a few games in a row, they will be ok.  Hopefully.  Our next game is tomorrow night.  I have been talking to one of the players.  His name is Karlis Zirnis and he's from Lativia.  He's been here in the states since he was a high school exchange student, and has played pro hockey for about 6 years now.  He is a little younger than what I am looking for, but he's sweet and nice to talk to.

Andre is officially moved out now, and it is so nice having a clean house again.  Me and Colton are really enjoying our alone time.  The last 2 nights we have spent building a gingerbread house and then decorating it.  It was a blast.  We had frosting all over the place....lol. 

This weekend I will be going to my son Chris's house.  We will be celebrating Christmas with his girlfriend/fiance's family.  I still have 2 people to buy for, so we'll probably try to finish that up while we are there also.

Well, guess I need to get the kiddo to bed, and then prolly head to bed myself.  Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season.  I promise not to be a stranger on here.
