Theresa: No operation is needed to tighten. I have a port in my abdomen under the skin, and he just inserts a needle into it, and can add or remove water as necessary. It's very easy and just takes a few minutes. I had the band tightened on Jan. 4th, and will have it tightened again on Feb. 16. It can be done up to 4 times a year as needed.

I did it!

I finally told Andre last night I was not happy, and that I did not think we should be together.  We decided he would move into the new house alone, which we are signing papers on today, and I will stay in the house we have now. 

He could only tell me that I was the best woman he had ever been with, and that he was simply just messed up in the head mentally.  He wanted to know what he could do to change my mind, and I told him he was incapable of doing what needs to be done, which is basically just showing me some love and affection.  I'm not asking him for marriage, just want to be treated at least like a real girlfriend, and not his maid and accountant.

We are going to talk more tonight, but he would have to seriously show me a change, and not a promise to change, to make me change my mind, and I don't think he is capable of it.

I'll write more when I know more, but as of now, I am considering this relationship way past dead.

Great news, sis! GREAT! While you still mention the need for him to change or you would stay, just remember you said the exact same words on your post in april when it was bad again. He may improve temporarily, but he will always revert back to same lazy, hateful asshole he is deep down inside.

I know this is way past due. I guess it is just hard to get out of this "comfort zone" I am in. I have struggled financially my whole adult life, and I don't do that anymore, and it's nice. He's a good man, a good provider, too bad he's a selfish and inconsiderate prick.

We went last night and signed the papers on the new house, so by Sept. 1st, we should have 2 houses to live seperately in.
